Ampd Bros Ace
The Ampd Bros Ace ebike model debuted in the Australia in 2019, and claims to be Australia’s best selling electric bike. The Ace frames themselves are offered in a wide range of variants including step-over and step through frames, each with no suspension, front suspension or dual suspension options. Things are starting to get even more serious for the Ace, with the recent release of the Demon dual motor electric bike, offering more torque than the local pub during a State of Origin decider. Prices currently range from $2,990 to $5,290 depending on your flavour, with special edition colourways such as the ‘Bronze eclipse’ which features a gradient paintjob fading from black to bronze offering a real feast for the senses. Ampd Bros Chubbie
The Ampd Bros Chubbie is the brand’s original foray into the fat tyre beach cruiser electric bike category. With retro styling applied to both stepover (pictured) and step-through models, the Chubbie model is compatible with Ampd Bros full range of accessories including front and rear baskets, surfboard racks and child seats meaning your nearest and dearest can accompany your cruise to the beach. Ampd Bros Stubbie
The Ampd Bros Stubbie model is a compact yet mighty beach cruiser. Think of it as the younger sibling to the Chubbie model mentioned above, suited to an even wider range of riders and yet still an extremely capable machine. The standard model is kitted out with a 500W motor, offering more than enough grunt to keep you on the move, with the recently launched Chubbie Pro adding front shocks and an upgraded 750W motor for that little bit more oomph, making it and ideal option for taking on a a range of terrains including sand, hills and trails. A range of fixture points allow the rider to add rear racks, front baskets, surfboard racks and more to the Stubbie, which rides on 20 inch rims versus the Chubbie’s 26 inch-ers, making this the perfect option for those seeking a more compact beach cruising machine.

Ampd Bros Riptide
The Ampd Bros Riptide is another retro beach cruiser model that is particularly friendly on the wallet. Riding on 26 inch rims on a rigid frame, the frame design of the Riptide houses the battery on the down tube, offering a low centre of gravity providing optimal handling and stability. This model comes fitted as standard with a rear rack, the perfect foundation for surf racks, child seats or a rear basket. Powered by a 500W Bafang motor, the Riptide can cruise comfortably, in every sense of the word. The Ampd Bros Challenger MKII model ebike is the brand’s foray into the electric mountain bike (eMTB) category. Ampd Bros Kids Bikes
Ampd Bros cater for the whole family, with a range of kids electric bikes including 16”, 18” and 20” models. Fittingly starting out with the 16 inch model, the Lil Rippa (pictured below) is the perfect introduction for budding electric bike riders. Sitting on a balance bike platform and powered by a 500 Watt motor, this nifty lil thing will definitely make your youngster grin from ear to ear. Don’t be fooled by the smaller battery size, the 36V 13AH Samsung still provides an estimated 120 mins, equivalent to 40kms, meaning those smiles will literally last for miles. With colour options including Lava Lightning, Bubblegum Blast and Electric Ocean the Lil Rippa really is a fun-filled entry into electric bike riding.
For young riders with a bit more cycling experience, the next step up is the Evo Racing range. With traditional BMX bike-inspired styling enhanced by front and rear suspension and a fully integrated battery, these pedal-assisted racing bikes come in 16”, 18” and 20” sizes. Designed to take on whatever the kids can throw at them, the Evo racing ebikes are comfortable on a variety of terrains including grassy areas, bike paths and dirt tracks.
